The Model JH5040 DIN-Rail Transmitter provides an isolated DC voltage or
current output proportional to a 4/20mAdc input. Designed to isolate and convert
signals from 2-wire (loop-powered) transmitters, it includes a regulated 24Vdc
input loop supply. The input also may be configured for standard 4/20mA inputs,
bypassing the 24V supply.
Other input ranges are possible. For example, the loop excitation supply
might be used to power a "3-wire" style transmitter having 0/5V or
0/10Vdc output. Contact us with your requirements.
Red-green Quick-Check LEDs give a quick indication of the relative output.
Red is brighter at the low end, green at high, while at mid-scale both are
approximately equal. Red-only indicates offscale low while green-only indicates
offscale high.
Available options include AC and DC power choices and reverse-acting
transmitter (decreasing output with increasing input).

INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS
Model JH5040 snaps onto 35mm DIN rail. Connections are made to the
front-panel terminals. The terminal strip unplugs to facilitate calibrating or
replacing the transmitter.
Connections to the 8 terminals (top to bottom) are:
1: Input plus.
2: Input minus.
3: +24Vdc loop excitation.
4: No connection.
5: Output plus.
6: Output minus.
7: Power (AC or, if DC power option, DC plus).
8: Power (AC or, if DC power option, DC minus).
